About The Program

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship (CHMS) Kerala 2025-26 is an opportunity offered by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala to female students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses in Kerala belonging to minority communities. The selected candidate will receive benefits of up to ₹13,000 per year and other awards.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a domicile of Kerala
  • be a female student
  • belong to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi minority communities
  • be studying graduate or higher-level courses in a government/government-aided institution
  • have secured 50% or above marks in the qualifying examination
  • have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000

Note:-

  • Applicants admitted to self-financing colleges on a merit basis are also eligible for this scholarship.
Benefits

The selected candidate will receive:-

  • Undergraduates: ₹5,000 per year
  • Postgraduates: ₹6,000 per year
  • Professional Courses: ₹7,000 per year
  • Hostel Stipend: ₹13,000 per year

Note:-

  • Only applicants staying in recognised hostels are eligible for a hostel stipend.
  • Applicants who receive the hostel stipend are ineligible for the other benefits.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Types of scholarship' and click 'C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship (CHMS)'.
Step 4: Click on the 'Apply Online' button.
Step 5: Fill in the required details, enter the captcha, and click 'Save & Proceed'.
Step 6: After successfully completing the registration, applicants will be redirected to the application page.
Step 7: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.
