About The Program

Brunel University London invites applications for Brunel University London PhD Studentship 2020 from PhD applicants. The aim of this studentship is to support the study of commencing PhD students. Selected students will get an annual stipend of GBP 20,000 plus payment of their full-time home/EU tuition fees. The studentship is meant for a period of 3 years and is based on "Upper-Band MmWave (200-300 GHz) Massive-MIMO Beamforming using Artificial Intelligence for 6G Heterogeneous Network".

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Have or expect to receive the first degree at 2:1 or above in Engineering or Physical Sciences related discipline
  • Be proficient in the English language with IELTS 6.5 score or equivalent
Benefits

The selected students will receive an annual stipend of GBP 20,000 plus payment of their full-time home/EU tuition fees for a period of 3 years.

  • Degree transcripts and/or certificates
  • Evidence of English language skills to IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent), if appropriate
  • Name and contact details of two academic referees

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on documents and interview performance.

Terms and Conditions
  • Interviews will take place early/mid-February 2020.
  • International applicants are required to self-fund the difference between the published full time international and home/EU tuition fee.
  • A master’s degree is an advantage but not essential to apply for this scholarship.
  • Applicants with Electronics Engineering background or Computer Science having taken courses in AI are strongly encouraged to apply.
