About The Program

Bridport Prize invites entries for Flash Fiction competition 2018 from creative writers of 16 years of age or above. The competition aims to provide an opportunity for writers to win cash prizes along with getting their stories published in Bridport Prize anthology.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

Writer belonging to any nationality of age 16 years or above is eligible for this competition.

Benefits
  • The first prize winner will receive a cash prize of GBP 1,000.
  • The second prize winner will receive a cash prize of GBP 500.
  • The third prize winner will receive a cash prize of GBP 250.
  • 3 highly commended winners will receive GBP 100 each.
  • Also, the winning and highly commended content will be published in the Bridport Prize anthology.
How can you apply?

Step 3: Click on 'checkout' button to proceed further.
Step 4: Create your account with Bridport Prize by filling the required details.
Step 5: Pay the entry fee of GBP 8 per creation.
Step 6: Upload the creatives and submit.

Terms and Conditions
  • Entry fee: £8 for each flash fiction must be submitted.
  • The word limit for flash fiction is up to 250 words (not including the title). 
  • No changes can be made in entries after being submitted.
  • Already published flash fictions are not eligible for competition.
  • Only .doc, .docx, .rtf, .wps, .pdf, .txt file types are allowed with maximum size limit of 2 Mb with the flash fiction title written in the file name.
  • The flash fictions are accepted in English language only, written in any font with font size 12 pt and font colour black.
