About The Program

BITS Pilani Goa Department of Biological Sciences Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is an initiative by BITS Pilani Goa Department of Biological Sciences for M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. degree holders. The selected fellows will get an opportunity to work on the Grand Challenges India (GCI) project entitled “Wastewater based Epidemiology and Screening for COVID 19" funded by DBT BIRAC and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Also, the candidates will receive a fellowship amount as per the DBT norms.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • Hold an M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences with first division marks
  • Be CSIR NET/UGC NET qualified

The selected fellows will receive a fellowship amount as per the DBT norms.
