About The Program
BITS Pilani Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani to master's degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Design of a Streamlined Ablatable Radome for Airborne Applications (project no. 2028)." The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or relevant discipline
- Have secured a minimum of 60% marks
- Have a GATE score
Desired Technical Skills -
- Have a good understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation
- Be familiar with MATLAB and electromagnetic simulation software
Note - Master’s degree students who are about to graduate can also apply.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The candidate must mandatorily register for the Ph.D. program of the Institute (subject to the Ph.D. rules and regulations of the Institute).
- The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to three years and subsequently five years solely based on performance. It is expected that the selected candidate will join the project with immediate effect.
- Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email for online/personal interview to be held at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus
