About The Program
BITS Pilani Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (EEED) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.E./M.Tech degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Development of a Multipurpose Diagnostic Device Based on Microporous Microneedle Patch for Minimally Invasive Sampling and Electrochemical Detection of Glucose, Uric Acid and Thyroid-stimulating Hormone from Interstitial Fluid". The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA [as per ICMR norms].

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Nanotechnology/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering/Biomedical/Biotechnology or equivalent
- Have prior experience in experimental work in Electronic Device Fabrication, Electrochemical Sensing, Nanomaterials
Note - Candidates with publication(s) will be given priority.

- Deserving JRF can be considered for the Ph.D. program at BITS-Pilani if the candidates meet the requirements of the Ph.D. qualification process as per the institute norms.
