About The Program
BITS Pilani Department of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Assistantship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani to master's degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on an ICSSR sponsored research project titled - "Economic Valuation of Ecosystem Services of Selected Wetlands in Goa." The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 16,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Environmental Sudies/Economics/Geography or related subjects in Social Sciences
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have knowledge of environmental valuation methods
- Have knowledge of the application of SPSS software
- Possess speaking/reading/writing abilities in Hindi and Konkani

- The selected candidate will get a chance to apply for the Ph.D. degree at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus (Rules of Ph.D. program for BITS Pilani are applicable).
