About The Program
Bihar Tourism Content Writing Contest 2023 is a contest organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar, for Indian students aged 15 years or above. The contest is divided into two categories i.e. long and short writing in Hindi and English languages.
The selected winners will receive awards of up to ₹1,00,000 and an appreciation certificate. Also, their content will be published on the official website of the Department of Tourism.

- be an Indian national
- be aged 15 years or above
Benefits
The selected winners of the contest will receive the following awards under the mentioned two categories along with an appreciation certificate from the Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar:

Note:- Consolation prizes will be awarded to 5 participants under each category.
All selected content will be published on the Department of Tourism website and winners will be mentioned on the social media platform.

- Content from the given topic/location in any/both of the given languages i.e. Hindi or English in the specified word count (Note:- Content can be handwritten or typed but must be submitted in PDF format only)
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the contest through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Read the guidelines carefully. Navigate to the 'Please Click Register Button For Participation' at the bottom of the website.
Step 4: Click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: Fill in the application form (via Google form) with the necessary details and upload the relevant documents in the prescribed format.
Step 6: Tick the checkbox for declaration and click on the 'Submit' button to complete the entry.
Note:- Review the information carefully before submitting. No changes can be made after submission.

- Separate winners will be selected from both English and Hindi segments.
- Multiple entries on the same topic/location in any category will lead to disqualification.
- Multiple entries from the same participant will be accepted, but not above 10 entries (5 for short-category content and 5 for long-category content).
- Participants can submit entries in Hindi, English, or both languages when sending content for multiple topics.
- Participants must abide by all rules and regulations of participation in the contest.
- The department's decision on the contest winners' evaluation will be final.
- The department will not accept responsibility for lost, late, or incomplete entries or entries that have not been transmitted due to uploading, internet, or any other error beyond control.
- In unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the contest at any time. The Department also reserves the right to disqualify or cancel any entry without specific reasons.
- The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright will be disqualified from the competition.
- The Department of Tourism does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
