About The Program
BHU Varanasi Junior Research Fellowship (IESD) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi to M.Sc. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India, New Delhi) project entitled - "To Improve Soil Properties of an Abandoned Urban Waste Dumping Site in Varanasi Using Site-specific Non-edible Energy-rich Plant Calotropis Under Controlled Field Studies". The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 25,000 per month plus 20% HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 28 years of age*
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science/Botany/Environmental Biotechnology/Biotechnology
- Have secured at least 55% marks
- Have NET/GATE or equivalent or with one-year research experience
*Note - Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/physically handicapped/female candidates.
