About The Program

Bath Spa University Meritorious Scholarship for September 2018 invites applications from students who are willing to pursue an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree program from the university. The key objective of the scholarship is to bring meritorious students from across the globe on board. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
For Undergraduate Applicants
An applicant must -
  • Have passed class 12 with at least 65% marks or more
  • Have obtained 70% score in English subject in class 12 or 6.0 band in IELTS  
For Postgraduate Applicants
An applicant must -
  • Be a graduate with at least 55% marks or more
  • Have obtained 70% score in English subject in class 12 or 6.0 band in IELTS  
Benefits
  • The selected students (both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants) will receive tuition fee waiver ranging from GBP 1000 to GBP 3000. 
  • The University also offers placement year opportunities for all undergraduate courses of study.

How can you apply?

For students, there will be 2 steps:

Step 1: Scholarship application and selection: Students need to apply for the scholarship online and based on their merit, they will be shortlisted for a short telephonic interview round. Click here to apply for Step 1 and fill the 5 step online application form.

Step 2: Admission application and selection: Finalist students (post interview) need to apply for BSU admission application form to receive conditional admission offer letter.

Terms and Conditions
Class 12 results can be used to waive IELTS if the student meets the conditions below: 
  • It was completed within the last two years, or longer if the applicant went straight into Higher Education taught in English after completing the class 12
  • The English Score is 70% or higher
  • There are 5 other subjects (including humanities) at 65% or above
  • The certificate/transcript confirms the medium of delivery was English
  • The certificate/transcript is from one of these examination boards - CISCE or CBSE
