Banaras Hindu University Varanasi invites applications for Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from M.Sc. / M.Tech. degree holders. The fellowship is meant to project entitled, "Daily PM2.5 estimation by fusion of multiple earth-observation satellite products”. The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 25,000 per month plus admissible HRA & SRF INR 28,000 per month plus admissible HRA.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age (Relaxation as per GoI norms)
- Hold an MSc/MTech degree in Atmospheric Science/ Environmental Technology/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science/Chemistry/ Remote Sensing and GIS, Geoinformatics with good academics
- Have experience in using Python/ GIS/ R/ MATLAB
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 25,000 per month plus admissible HRA and INR 28,000 per month plus admissible HRA (as SRF).

- The date of interview will be informed after primary scrutiny of the applications only to the shortlisted candidates.
- All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
- No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
