About The Program
Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Department of Zoology Senior Research Fellowship 2022 from M.Sc. degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi funded project entitled - “Elucidation of Activities and Impact of Pax6 on Regulatory Elements of Brain during Hyperglycemia”. The selected candidate will receive a fixed fellowship of INR 35,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 32 years of age
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences/Neuroscience/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular and Human Genetics/Animal Physiology/Bioinformatics
- Have NET/GATE or equivalent with two years of research experience after postgraduation OR
- Have at least two years of research experience using laboratory animal model/cell culture in the area of Hyperglycemia/Proteomics/Neurobiology/Bioinformatics/Immunology
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have experience in Cell line culture/Proteomics/Functional Genomis
