Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2023-24 is offered by the Education Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal* to meritorious students pursuing a diploma in Engineering or one of the specified degree courses. The selected candidates will receive annual financial assistance of INR 50,000 or a tuition fee/annual fee (whichever is less).
*Sant Nirankari Mandal is a Nirankari spiritual organisation that works to help needy and meritorious students of India.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be pursuing a diploma in Engineering or a degree in one of the following courses from a recognized Institution in India:
- B.A./B.A. (Hons)
- B.Com./B.Com (Hons)
- B-Pharma
- D-Pharma
- B.Ed
- DElEd
- B.Sc. in Hotel Management
- BBA
- BCA
- M.Com
- M.Sc.
- M.A.
- MCA
- Diploma/degree or training in any Sport, Instrumental, Music/Vocal Music
- have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10 and 12
- have annual family income below INR 3,50,000
The following students/applicants shall not be eligible for a grant of financial assistance under this scholarship scheme:
- The students who have taken admission through the management/convener quota or any other quota of the university/educational Institution.
- Students who have failed in any of the subject in any of the previous semesters/years.
- Applicants detained in any semester/year examination due to shortage of attendance.
- Applicants who are penalized by the University or the institute for any act of indiscipline during the course.
- Students who have taken scholarships from any other source
Benefits The selected students will receive annual financial assistance of INR 50,000 per student or the tuition fee or annual fee, whichever is less.
Documents - Passport size photograph
- Marksheets of Class 10-12
- Pay slip and ITR form
- Affidavit (Part-III of Application Form).
- Copy of results of all semesters’ examinations passed
- Copy of latest fee receipts issued by the university/institute
- Detailed fee structure including tuition fee, library, hostel, books, etc. duly signed by the administrator/principal of the institute
- Copy of student’s passbook of saving bank account
- Copy of bank statements of all family members
- Admission slip/letter provided by the university/educational institution
- Copy of Aadhaar card/Ration card/Voter ID card/Passport/PAN card
- Copy of letter received previous year from Education Department, SNM (for old students only)
Note:
- All the documents submitted with the application form must be self-attested.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered for scholarship grants.
How can you apply? The students can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Form of the Scholarship Scheme’ tab.
Step 4: Download the application form and fill in the required details.

Selection Criteria
The Education Committee constituted by the Education Department, Sant Nirankari Mandal will scrutinize all the applications and will prepare a list of shortlisted eligible candidates.
The eligible students may have to appear for an interview before the Education Committee, only if required.
Important documents
Terms and Conditions
- The applicants must not leave any column of the application form blank.
- 25% of the course fee will be paid only upon receipt of the final year marksheet of the course and the feedback form sent by Sant Nirankari Mandal.
- The decision of the Education Committee shall be final in all respects and no further requests for reconsideration of the recommendations shall be entertained.
- The students are required to produce the documents at the time of the interview.
