About The Program
Azim Premji University Need-Based Scholarships 2025 is an initiative by the Azim Premji University for students pursuing UG and PG level studies at the University. The aim of this scheme is to provide education opportunities to students with economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The selected students will receive a full to half waiver in their tuition fees and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be in need of financial assistance
- be pursuing UG and PG courses at the Azim Premji University
- have annual income less than less ₹10,00,000 (for UG) or ₹8,00,000 (for PG))
Note: In addition, in certain postgraduate programmes, students with work experience may qualify for a partial waiver of the tuition fee. Please check the fee information for programmes in detail.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a full to half waiver in tuition fees and accommodation.
Note:- It may also include subsidisation of the cost of field-based components such as immersions, internships and projects. In certain deserving cases, the University also provides subsidies for food during the semesters.

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

- While filling up the application form, students must mention the ‘apply for financial assistance’ option.
- If a student is selected in the admission process, they will be asked to fill out the detailed financial assistance form and submit supporting documents within a specified deadline.
- The University’s financial assistance team may help students to understand and assess the financial situation.
- The University will conduct its own verification process through a third-party agency to validate all the financial information.
- The university’s decision will be final and binding.
