About The Program

Audi along with the One Young World Foundation invites applications for the Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship 2019 from applicants between the age of 18 and 30 years. The aim of the scholarship is to actively support research put into new technologies and scientific methods for a liveable future. A total of 15 inspiring young leaders will be selected to attend this year’s One Young World Summit 2019 in London, United Kingdom.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

The following applicants are eligible to apply for the scholarship: 

  • Must fall in the age group of 18-30 years at the time of application
  • Should be a young leader
  • Should be working in the field of environment in any non-profit, community organization or social enterprise
Benefits

The selected scholars will receive the following benefits: 

  • Access to the One Young World Summit 2019 in London, United Kingdom
  • Cost of travelling to and from London (economy flights)
  • Accommodation at a hotel in a single room which will include the following:
    • Breakfast
    • Lunch
    • Dinner
  • Participation at the pre-event by Audi AG and the Audi Environmental Foundation on 21 October
  • Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue
  • Summit hand-outs and support materials

Selection Criteria

The applicants will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:

  • A passion for environmental issues
  • Impact and capacity for innovation in this field
  • Leadership

  • The scholarship expects candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to:

    • Improving access to education, skills or employment opportunities for people who may be left behind by the rapidly and constantly changing global economy like women and girls, disadvantaged youth.

    • Creating lifelong learning opportunities and skill development for people to prepare them for the future workforce, including in areas where there are talent shortages.

    • Accelerating entrepreneurship, new types of employment, or providing opportunities for people to overcome traditional barriers to employment.

  • While filling the application form, candidates are recommended to save their responses in an offline document as there is no provision to save responses in the online form.
