About The Program
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship - Junior Level, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to students of Class 11 and 12 who want to pursue higher education. The selected students will receive a scholarship ranging from ₹1,600-₹2,300 depending on the course.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- be a Class 11 and 12 student
- have achieved top ranks in the secondary and higher secondary examination
- hold a DHE-sanctioned letter
Benefits
The selected students at AMS Junior level will be awarded a scholarship ranging from ₹1,600 to ₹2,300 and more, depending on the course, in accordance with government rules.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents and submit.

- This scheme is also open to Maharashtrian students studying outside of Maharashtra.
- The student must maintain a minimum of 55% marks and continue to the next academic year to qualify for scholarship renewal.
