About The Program
The AScI International Summer Research Programme 2026 is offered by Aalto University. To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a Bachelor's, Master's, or, in exceptional cases, Doctoral student from any country worldwide
- be a research-oriented student with a strong academic background
- be able to work full-time for 12 weeks
Benefits
The selected students will receive:-
- Full-time employment as a research assistant with a monthly salary of €2,000 (approx. ₹2,15,874.00), depending on years of study
- Travel bonus of €400 (approx. ₹43,174.80) for applicants from Europe or €800 (approx.₹86,572.00) for applicants from outside Europe
- 1 week of paid vacation during the 12-week programme
- Assistance in finding low-cost student housing
- Comprehensive information and support for visa applications
- "Get to know Finland" course (June only)
- Regular lunch gatherings with other interns
- Social, cultural, outdoor, and sporting activities throughout the summer
- Opportunity to present research at a final poster exhibition
