Arturo Falaschi Short-Term Postdoctoral Fellowships, ICGEB, New Delhi 2024, is an opportunity offered by the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), to Ph.D. in Life Science degree holders. Deadline30-Sep-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, the applicant must:
- be a citizen of an ICGEB member state
- be below 35 years of age
- hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences OR
- have a minimum of 3 years of research experience
- have a good working knowledge of the English language, supported by a proficiency certificate (TOEFL, Cambridge certificate, or equivalent)
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of US$ 1,590.
Other Benefits:
- Travel expenses from the applicant's home country to the ICGEB lab and a return travel ticket upon completion of the fellowship.

- Written Statement from the ICGEB Group Leader
- A valid identification document (passport or identity card) [Note:- Recommended passport validity should be at least 12 months]
- English Certificate (TOEFL, Cambridge, or similar) [Note:- This document is not requested when scholastic education has been undertaken in English.]

Selection Criteria
The ICGEB fellowships selection committee will evaluate complete and endorsed applications received by the closing date. The main criteria for selection include:
- The scientific excellence of the project
- The qualities of the candidate's curriculum vitae (or résumé) and potential benefit for the home country

- ICGEB does not offer financial assistance or administrative support for family members of program participants.
- Support for participation in meetings and courses is generally provided by the Group Leader/Principal Investigator.
- Proof of English proficiency is not required for those whose secondary or higher education was conducted in English.
- Candidates will be notified of the application outcome via email as soon as possible after the application deadline.
