About The Program

Singapore International Foundation (SIF) is offering Arts for Good Fellowship 2019 to eligible candidates to foster a community of practice that harnesses the power of arts and culture to create a positive social change. The fellowship brings together cross-sector professionals such as artists, art administrators, and programmers from the social sector on a programme comprising webinars and two exchange programmes. The fellowship will explore the theme of "Creative Empowerment for Children and Youth".

To be eligible, the applicants must:

  • Be arts and culture practitioner, arts administrator, creative professional or programmer from the education and social sector
  • Have a minimum of two years’ professional or voluntary practice, and demonstrate a commitment to lead and affect change through their work
  • Have prior experience working with a community through the arts, demonstrating a strong interest in arts-based projects aimed at creating social impact
  • Be able to attend all components of the programme
  • Be financially able to support their travel expenses to participate in the fellowship
  • Be conversant and able to communicate in English

Note: The candidates can belong to any nationality or age.

Benefits
  • Candidates residing in Singapore or Delhi shall receive financial support of SGD 250 and other parts of India will receive SGD 350.
  • For candidates belonging to ASEAN countries, financial support of SGD 500 will be provided while those from the rest of the world will be given SGD 800
  • The SIF will be providing travel support for fellows during the two exchange programmes to Singapore and Delhi, India.
  • Accommodation during the duration of the fellowship and meals during the programme are included in the exchange programs.

  • Fellows will be able to build capacity and learn key skills and knowledge to run an effective Arts for Good initiative.
  • They can connect with professionals from an international ecosystem that is keen in harnessing the arts for social change.
  • This edition of the fellowship will comprise of Online Webinars and Exchange Programmes to two global cities (Singapore, Delhi).
  • The selected candidates will be required to attend all the components of the fellowship (webinars and exchange programmes).
  • It will take around 30 minutes to fill the online form.
  • Late applications will not be considered.
