About The Program
Ambedkar Fellowship For Political Change 2023 is an initiative of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)* for recent graduates and young professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds. The scheme aims to implement policies and initiatives to foster greater participation and representation of young people in the nation's decision-making processes. The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend after the probationary period of three months and a certificate signed by Shri Arvind Kejriwal, National Convenor, AAP upon completion.
*The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a political party in India, founded in November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his then-companions.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a recent graduate OR
- be a young professional below 40 years of age
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive the following benefits for 11 months:-
- Fellows will be eligible for a monthly stipend upon completion of a probationary period of three months.
- Fellows will get a certificate signed by Shri Arvind Kejriwal, National Convenor, AAP upon completion.
- A hands-on experience while working with senior leaders and professionals and an opportunity to be a part of the political process (ringside view of election campaign).
Note:- High-performing fellows will be eligible for an extension to further engage with the Aam Aadmi Party.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- The selection list will be released on December 25th.
- The initial group of candidates will begin their joining process on January 2nd. Those who are selected are expected to join on this date. In exceptional circumstances, candidates may be permitted to join in the second cycle, which starts on February 1st.
Note:- No candidates will be allowed to join after the above-specified date.
