About The Program

The All India Talent Search Examination 2018 organised by the Children's Education Trust & Management Society of India is a program to identify and facilitate extraordinary meritorious students of different age groups. This scholarship program works to develop excellence among students.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

Students from certain age groups can appear for this examination. The different groups eligible are:

  • Group A: Students in class 5 or 6
  • Group B: Students in class 7 or 8
  • Group C: Students in class 9 or 10
  • Group D: Students in class 11 or 12
Benefits

The selected students after appearing for the written examination will receive the following benefits.

Group A: Scholarships up to INR 12,000.
Group B: Scholarships up to INR 14,400.
Group C: Scholarships up to INR 14,400.
Group D: Scholarships up to INR 19,200.

How can you apply?

Students can register either through their respective schools or individually. However, the students will have to pay an extra registration fee of INR 50 for individual registration. Follow the steps below to apply:

Step 1: Visit the portal here.
Step 2: Download the application form (for individual or group) and take a print out.
Step 3: Fill in the required details.
Step 4: Send the duly filled application form along with the original copy of the demand draft (examination fee) to the following address:

Note: The demand draft should be made in favour of Children's Education Trust, payable at New Delhi.

Important Dates
  • Receipt of registration forms from the schools by 5th September 2018.
  • Receipt of registration forms from the schools along with the examination fee by 29th September 2018.
  • Receipt of registration forms from individual students by 15th September 2018.
  • Receipt of registration forms from individual students along with the examination fee by 29th September 2018.
  • Applications with late fee (INR 50) by 29th October.
  • Written exam on 1st or 2nd December 2018 (Any of the two dates can be chosen).
Selection Criteria

The students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and on the recommendation of the AITS Award Committee.

  • NRI students are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • The applicant students must score above 65% marks in aggregate in their school examinations.
  • The written examination will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
  • The written examination will follow the negative marking system.
  • The questions in the written exam will be objective type and no extra sheet of paper will be given to the students.
  • Examination fee:
    • INR 350 per child for Group A.
    • INR 350 per child for Group B.
    • INR 450 per child for Group C.
    • INR 450 per child for Group D.
    • INR 50 as an additional fee for students applying individually.
    • INR 50 as late fee.
  • Instead of the demand draft, an applicant can also deposit the cash in Children’s Education Trust account in the branch of IDBI Bank A/C No. 040104000100199 and send the original deposit slip along with the registration form.
  • Without the original deposit slip or the bank draft, the process of registration will not be able to start.
  • The students will not be given any marks sheet and those who qualify will be notified through email along with their names being displayed on the website.
