About The Program

All India Scholarship Test Exam (AISTE) 2019 is a national level merit-based scholarship program. AISTE is provided by an organization which is registered under Ability Education Trust. Out of the total number of applications, the top 200 meritorious students will be awarded scholarship based on financial needs. Out of total applications, top 62 meritorious students will be awarded this scholarship based on performance in the online test and interview. Top performers in the test can win a scholarship of up to INR 90,000.

To be eligible, the applicants must be a student of Class 4 to 12.

Benefits

National level awards-

  • The 1st rank candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 90,000.
  • The 2nd rank candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 70,000.
  • The 3rd rank candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 50,000.
  • Top 200 meritorious students will receive a scholarship worth INR 5000.
  • The winning candidates will receive one-year books facilities and excellence certificates.

State level awards-

  • The 1st rank candidate will receive a scholarship worth INR 30,000 plus one-year books facilities and excellence certificates.
  • Top 1000 winners will receive participation certificates.
How can you apply?

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Visit the AISTE website and click on "Apply Online".
Step 2: Provide information about name, date of birth, caste, etc.
Step 3: Provide information about gender, Aadhar number, address etc.
Step 4: Upload signature and photo (maximum 1 MB size).
Step 5: Submit the online application form.
Step 6: Students can also apply offline here.

Selection Criteria

Selection of the candidates will be based on online test and interview.

Terms and Conditions
  • The online application fee is INR 249.
  • AISTE will conduct the offline exam for Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in April 2019.
  • The medium of examination will be in English, Hindi, Marathi or Semi-English.
  • The examination will be an objective type paper with each question having 4 options to choose correct answers from.
  • The duration of exam will be of 2 hours.
  • The examination questions consist of negative marking of 1/4.
