The Poetry Society (India) has announced All India Poetry Competition 2017, for resident and non-resident Indian poets and translators. The poems entered for the competition will be read by a panel of eminent Indian poets who will select the prize-winning poems.
All India Poetry Competition 2017-18
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - All the resident and non-resident Indian poets and translators are eligible for this competition.
- Members of The Poetry Society (India) and the first prize winners of previous All India Poetry Competitions are not permitted to enter the competition.
How can you apply? To enter the competition, the following procedure needs to be followed:
Step 1: A copy of each poem must be sent through e-mail at hkkaul@gmail.com
Step 2: Another copy of the same poem must be sent in print/typed form through mail/courier along with the entry fee, cost of anthology and entry form duly filled in at the address mentioned below:

Terms and Conditions
Award Details-
- First Prize of INR 10000
- Second Prize of INR 5000
- Third Prize of INR 3000
- Three commendation prizes of INR 1000
NOTE: Entry Fee is INR 200 per poem. Competitors may submit as many poems as they wish to submit.
- No competitor may win more than one prize.
