- Internships last a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months, and each candidate may participate only once.
- Selected interns may work remotely or on-site, depending on the needs of their hiring unit.
- Remote interns must have a personal computer, reliable internet access, and a suitable environment for uninterrupted work.
- On-site interns are responsible for their own air travel (if applicable) and personal living expenses.
- The Bank will make reasonable efforts to help interns obtain entry and residence visas.
- Eligible interns receive medical insurance coverage funded by the Bank for the duration of the internship.
- Eligible interns are also provided with a monthly stipend.

About The Program

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a national of a member country of the African Development Bank
- be currently enrolled in a Master’s level degree at a recognised institution, or
- have obtained a Master’s degree not more than a year ago
- be no more than 30 years old at the time of commencement of the internship
- be fluent in English or French
- have analytical, communication, and team skills; proficiency in standard office software is required; knowledge of SAP is desirable
