The Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship 2019 is a great opportunity for undergraduate and masters female students who are interested in pursuing further studies in computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical field. The scholarship offered by Adobe Research aims to recognise and support the education of outstanding female students in computer science from all across the world.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

    • Be a female student.
    • Be an undergraduate or masters student at a university.
    • Be willing to enrol as a full-time undergraduate or masters student.
    • Be pursuing computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
    • Have a good academic record.

    Note: The applicants should not have a close relative working for Adobe Research.

    Benefits

    The applicants selected for the scholarship will receive the following benefits:

    • A scholarship amount of USD 10,000.
    • A 1-year Creative Cloud subscription membership.
    • A research mentor from Adobe.
    • An opportunity to appear for an interview for an internship at Adobe.
    Documents
    • A resume.
    • Academic transcripts from current and/or past institution.
    • Three references (Sent via email).
    • Answers to up to four essay questions.
    • An optional 60-second video or multimedia submission describing the applicant's dream career.
    How can you apply?

    Follow the below steps to apply:

    Step 1: Visit the following link.
    Step 2: The applicants can create a new application or access an existing application.
    Step 3: Fill in all the required details in the next step.
    Step 4: Upload the required documents including the letters of reference.
    Step 5: Submit the application form.

    Note: An applicant can update her scholarship application until the deadline (28th September).

Important Dates

The recipients of the scholarship will be announced by 21 November 2018.

Selection Criteria

The winners of the scholarship will be selected at the discretion of the committee of Adobe researchers. The documents submitted by the applicant will be used to select the winners.

Terms and Conditions
  • For Indian applicants, Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship is also available. However, the applicants can choose to apply for only one of these programs.
  • The scholarship amount of USD 10,000 will be awarded to the student and not the university.
  • Those who received the scholarship last year are not eligible to apply for this year's program.
