About The Program
ABV-IIITM Gwalior Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered to graduate/postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant to project entitled, "Design of Privacy-preserving and Efficient Mechanisms for Handling Heterogeneous Biometric Data in the Context of Aadhaar". The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA (if applicable 16%).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
Essential Qualification:
- Not more than 32 years of age as on 31st January 2022
- Hold an M.Tech./M.E. or equivalent degree in CSE (Computer Science & Engineering)/IT (Information Technology)/ECE (Electronics & Communication)*
- Hold B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. degree in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. degree
- Have outstanding academic or research records**
- Be GATE/NET qualified
Desirable Qualifications:
- Have good knowledge of fundamentals in information security, data privacy, biometric recognition
- Have good programming skills in MATLAB/Python/C++
Note -
- The candidates must also be holders of B.Tech/ B.E. degree in CSE/ IT/ECE.*
- Candidates with outstanding academic or research records can apply directly after their B.Tech./B.E. degree.**

Terms and Conditions
- The shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
- The contract will also include a one month notice period, wherein if the candidate selected wants to discontinue the project, the candidate will have to inform the PI one month in advance.
- Candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria are not necessary to call for the interview. Criteria’s can be set to higher than the minimum.
