Categories and definitions:
Professional (Skilled India):
A person whose main source of livelihood is from photography (working in the capacity of individual photographer or in a Photo Section, Newspapers, News agencies, Studios, teaching, photography & communication or individual agencies or any form of major source of revenue through photography) is considered to be "Professional Photographer".
Amateur (Swachh Bharat):
A Photographer who does photography as a hobby, for creative urge, but her/his major source of revenue should be from some other means is considered as "Amateur Photographer".
Submission of work:
- Submission of works by the professionals must be based on a content and quality on the specified subject and should be restricted to maximum of Fifteen Numbers of Entries as a portfolio to explain and establish the originality of the subject. Only fresh & unpublished pictures would be considered. Picture should have been taken during the last 2 years time ending from the date of commencement of the contest for the subject.
- Submissions of works by the Amateurs must be based on the specified subject and should be restricted to maximum of Ten Numbers of Entries. Only fresh picture would be considered. Picture should have been taken during the last 2 years time ending from the date of commencement of the contest for the subject.
