Shinhan Postcard Art Contest 2018 invites postcard art entries from children between age group of 4 to 18 years from all across the world. The objective of the contest is to educate and allow young artists to grow in Korea. Until now, this contest was organized only for the children of the Republic of Korea but this is the first time in its 21 years history that it is open to children from all across the world.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility Children between the age group of 4 to 18 years are eligible for this contest. The categories include -
- 4 to 6 years
- 7 to 12 years
- 13 to 15 years
- 16 to 18 years
Benefits The winners will receive the following awards:
- 1 Grand Prize of KRW 1,000,000 and certificate will be awarded.
- Students of 4 to 6 years:
- 1st prize: KRW 300,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- 2nd prize: KRW 100,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- Students of 7 to 12 years
- 1st prize: KRW 300,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- 2nd prize: KRW 100,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- Students of 13 to 15 years
- 1st prize: KRW 500,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- 2nd prize: KRW 100,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- Students of 16 to 18 years
- 1st prize: KRW 700,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- 2nd prize: KRW 100,000 along with a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- A total of 8 winners will receive the 3rd place and get a certificate and art materials by Shinhan
- A total of 200 fourth place winners will be announced who will get a certificate and art material by Shinhan
- 500 candidates will be selected as Honourable Mentions who will receive certificates only.
How can you apply? Step 1: Applicants have to send their original artwork by post to the address mentioned below.

Terms and Conditions
- The theme of this year's contest is "Your Happiest Moment in Life".
- The art material to be submitted should be any drawing or kent paper.
- The size of the postcard should be (14.7 cm x 10 cm or 5.78 inches x 3.93 inches)
- Only fine art paint should be used as the main medium for the painting or art.
- In case there is any loss or damage to the art entry sent by post, the applicants can be asked to submit their work in digital image format (jpg/png)
- The management can change the amount of award depending on the number of entries received.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- The responsibility of any import taxes or levies payable on the recipient of awards will be taken by the awardee only.
