1st National Essay Writing Competition 2018 is an essay writing competition organized by the Disha Law College. Interested students can write the essay on the theme “PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT THROUGH BIODIVERSITY ACT” or “ROLE OF FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY IN PRISON REHABILITATION”. The essay should not be more than 2000 words and should be in English language only. The essay must be the original one and the plagiarism will lead to the disqualification of the essay.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility Open to all the students of 5/ 3 Year LLB Course / LL.M. / M.Phil./ Ph.D./ or any other Undergraduate or Master courses (other than Law) in any university.
Benefits - 1st Prize: Cash Prize of INR 5000
- 2nd Prize: Cash Prize of INR 3000
- 3rd Prize: Cash Prize of INR 1000
- All the participants shall be awarded E-Certificate of Participation
How can you apply? The application can be done by post or by email. Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Write the essay on the above-mentioned theme.
Step 2: Submit a soft copy of the essay and the money transfer details on dlcraipur@dishamail.com

- One candidate can submit only one submission
- The submission shall consist of an abstract, essay and bibliography.
- Footnotes must conform to authoritative standard rules of legal citation.
- All participants should strictly abide by the guidelines. Any deviance shall lead to disqualification.
