Fulton-Montgomery Community College, New York invites applications for You Are Welcome Here Scholarship 2020 from international students studying at the college. This scholarship aims to support the study of all international students residing on campus who enrol in Fall and Spring semesters. Selected students will receive an annual scholarship of USD 7,000.
You Are Welcome Here Scholarship 2021
DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be an international admitted student of the college or going to be enrolled for the current academic session
- Reside in college housing
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Enrol and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credits (exception may be granted) for Fall and Spring semesters and remain in satisfactory academic standing
- Be a first-year international applicant to Fulton-Montgomery Community College, New York
- Attend (or have graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States
- Demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange
- Complete a 500-1000 words essay or a two-to-five minutes video describing aspirations to conduct projects, research, employment, or other experiences that will advance intercultural learning
Benefits The selected candidate will receive an annual scholarship of USD 5,000.

Selection Criteria
Selections will be based on the eligibility criteria and the quality of essay or video submitted by the applicants.
Terms and Conditions
- Scholarship can be renewed for up to 2 years (Fall and Spring semesters only).
- Recipients of the scholarship will need to participate in at least 10 hours of cultural sharing and engagement with the local community.
- If awarded a scholarship, recipients can claim it by submitting a tuition deposit to FM by April 1, 2021.
- This scholarship award will be an automatic deduction on the candidate’s semester bill and does not require an application.
