Vocational Education Maintenance Allowance to ST Students, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra to financially help ST students of the state who are enrolled in vocational courses. The selected candidates will receive an annual maintenance allowance.

Vocational Education Maintenance Allowance to ST Students, Maharashtra 2023-24
Deadline30-Apr-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community of Maharashtra
- be enrolled in a vocational course at a recognised institution
- have an annual family income of less than or equal to ₹2,50,000
- have passed the previous year's examination
Benefits The selected scholars will receive a maintenance allowance as specified hereunder:
- For students enrolled in courses with a duration of 4-5 years:
- Hostellers: ₹7,000 per annum
- Day scholars: ₹10,000 per annum
- For students enrolled in courses with a duration of 2-3 years:
- Hostellers: ₹5,000 per annum
- Day scholars: ₹7,000 per annum
- For students enrolled in courses with a duration of 2 years or less:
- Hostellers: ₹5,000 per annum
- Day scholars: ₹5,000 per annum
Documents - Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- Previous year's marksheet
- Caste validity certificate issued by a competent authority (mandatory)
- Declaration of Rector/Superintendent of the college
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details in the 'Register' tab.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
Terms and Conditions
- Candidates are required to pass the previous year's examination to ensure the renewal of the scholarship.
