Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship Program 2023 is an initiative by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation for Class 10 passed students who are currently studying in Class 11 at a recognized institution in Tamil Nadu. Established in 1999 by SD Shibulal (Co-founder and former CEO, Infosys) and Kumari Shibulal, (Sarojini Damodaran Foundation), this financial support helps in transforming the lives of the underprivileged students in society by contributing to their higher education. The selected students will receive up to INR 10,000 per annum.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- have completed Class 10/SSLC examination in the year 2023 from Tamil Nadu
- have scored a minimum of 90% marks or obtained a 9 CGPA in Class 10/SSLC examination (Note - The cut-off mark for students with disability is 60%)
- have an annual family income of less than INR 2,00,000
Note: For disabled students, the cut-off in Class 10 is 50% marks.
Benefits The selected students will receive up to INR 10,000 per annum.
Documents - Recent photograph
- Scanned copy of the Class 10 marksheet
- Scanned copy of Income Certificate (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted)
Note - If the original mark sheet is not available, a provisional/online mark sheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website can be uploaded.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and enter the required registration details. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id)
Step 3: Navigate the 'Apply Now'at the bottom of the page and click on it.
Step 4: Click on 'Register' to start the application.
Step 5: Confirm the registration through the email sent by Vidhyadhan.
Step 6: Log in using the registered email Id and password.
Step 7: Click on the ‘Help’ link from Vidyadhan Account for complete application instructions.
Step 8: Click on the ‘Application’ button to create a new application.
Step 9: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.Note - The application will be considered complete only after the applicants upload the mandatory documents and photographs.
Important Dates
Application Deadline: 31st July 2023
Screening Test: 27th August 2023
Interview Date: 1st September to 30th September 2023
