University of Plymouth GREAT Scholarships 2022 is a combined initiative of by the University of Plymouth with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council for postgraduate applicants. This scholarship scheme is for students from India and Singapore commencing studies in 2022-23. One scholarship per country is available, with eligible candidates enrolled in any of the following courses -
M.Sc. Applied Marine Science; MRes Marine Biology; M.Sc. Marine Conservation; M.Sc. Sustainable Environmental Management; M.Sc. Environmental Consultancy; M.Sc. Coastal Engineering; M.Sc. Offshore Renewable Energy; M.Sc. Offshore Renewable Energy Engineering; M.Sc. Sustainable Aquaculture
The selected scholar will receive each scholarship worth £10,000 towards the tuition fees.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be of the nationality of, or domiciled in India or Singapore
- Have an outstanding academic record (Note - This is determined by reviewing the applicant's transcripts and applying a grade comparison tool from Eccles.)
- Meet the standard English Language requirements specified by the university
- Have an unconditional/conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth for one of the mentioned programmes
Benefits The selected scholar will receive each scholarship worth up to £10,000 towards the tuition fees.
Documents - A copy of your offer letter
- A copy of your final academic transcripts*
- One or two reference letters from a suitable source, supporting the scholarship application (Note - This must be a separate reference letter that the applicant has submitted with the main application of study.)
*Note - If the final transcript is not available at the time of application please send the most recent or provisional results.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence and relevant experience.

Terms and Conditions
- The application will be considered by the International Scholarships Panel of the university and the selected candidates will be informed by 31st July 2022.
- The decision made by the Panel is final.
- The applications submitted after the closing date or without all the required information will not be considered.
