The University of New England invites applications for the University of New England, Australian Canola Oil Scholarship 2019-20 from PhD students to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team on an industry-focussed project that aims to develop new sugar surfactants from renewable, botanical sources. The selected researcher will receive AUD 27,596 per annum as the scholarship. The scholarship will be tax exempted and will be paid in fortnightly instalments.

- Be a PhD student.
- Have interest and relevant background in organic synthesis, carbohydrate chemistry, and colloid science.
Benefits The selected candidate will receive the following benefits:
- The scholarship value is AU$27,596 per annum which is tax-exempt and paid in fortnightly installments.
- The successful candidate will also receive a tuition fee waiver in the form of a UNE international HDR fee stipend for a period of three years.
