University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships 2019

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

• Be enrolled or have applied for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne
• Meet the entry requirements of the programme
• Have at least an Australian Bachelor degree of 4 years or an overseas equivalent with an overall average of more than 75% in the final year 
• Be proficient in the English language

Approximately 600 scholarships are disbursed under this scholarship that includes -

• Full fee offset for up to 2 years (for students undertaking Masters by Research degree) or up to 4 years (for students undertaking a doctoral degree)
• Living allowance of AUD 30,600 per annum pro-rata for up to 2 years (for Masters by Research degree) or up to 3.5 years (for doctoral degree)
• Relocation grant of AUD 2,000 for students moving from territories or states other than Victoria or AUD 3,000 for students moving from outside Australia
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) single membership (for international students)

The new students need to apply for the graduate research course and they will be automatically considered for the scholarship. However, the students who have accepted a graduate research course offer can apply online through the following steps -
