The University of Bradford, UK is inviting applications from student-athletes for Sports Scholarship Scheme 2019. The scholarship aims to offer multiple benefits to the deserving students who are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University for their overall growth in the field of athletics. Five successful candidates can avail benefits under this scheme.
University of Bradford Sports Scholarship Scheme 2019
DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be a prospective student applying to the University at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Be progressing to a postgraduate degree at the university (if a current student).
- Be able to maintain a regional, national or international standard in their specific sport domain
- Display strong evidence of having outstanding potential in future.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications to ensure admission at the University
Note: Students transferring from another university to Bradford are also eligible to apply for this scheme.
Benefits Successful applicants will receive the following benefits:
- GBP 1,000 towards tuition fee
- Sport Science access (physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, performance analysis)
- Academic and career support
- Access to sports massage
- Free sports membership
- Waiver of athletic union fee
- Sports kit packages on discounted price
Documents The filled application form must be accompanied with the below media evidence -
- 3-4 video footage of different fixtures and competitions.
- Photo of the candidate representing the highest representative club.
Note- These media evidence files should be outlined with the concerned competition and date. If a candidate is unable to present video footage at the time of submission, he/she can contact on sports-scholarships@bradford.ac.uk for the possible alternative.
How can you apply? Step 1: Visit the webpage to download the application form.
Step 2: Click on the “Sports Scholarship Application form 2019” and download the form.
Step 3: Fill all the necessary personal details as asked in the application form.
Step 4: Attach the required media evidence files.
Step 5: Send the completed application form and media evidence files by email to sports-scholarships@bradford.ac.uk.

Application deadline: 2nd August 2019

Terms and Conditions
- Performance of students availing scholarship will be reviewed at the end of each academic year and as per the review, the scholarship will be continued further for next academic year.
- The scholars are expected to maintain certain objectives throughout their course.
- All successful students will be required to attend the induction event within the university.
