About The Program
The Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) invites applications from Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students for the UM International Student Scholarship (UM-ISS) 2019. The scholarship aims to offer free tuition and free language program for qualified international students. It is a competitive scholarship intended to provide access to highly potential international students for a maximum of 5 years.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-
- Be a non-Indonesian citizen
- Be applying for an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at UM
- Possess prerequisite educational qualifications deemed appropriate to undertake the intended program at UM
- Possess excellent co-curricular records showing strong leadership potential and/or qualities
Benefits
- The UM International Student Scholarship 2019 awardees will be given free tuition and free language program (Bahasa Indonesia for up to 5 months).
Note: The scholarship will be offered for a maximum of 5 years for Undergraduate, 3 years for Masters, and 4 years for Doctorate courses.

Step 3: Check out Faculty and Study Programs before applying.
Step 4: Prepare all relevant files (photo, scan passport, certificate, transcripts, Letter of Recommendation, Language Proficiency, and Health Certificate) before filling the application form.
Step 5: Fill in the email address and click on 'NEXT'.
Step 6: Provide identity information and proposed study program information.
Step 7: Upload the relevant documents and submit the application.

Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship may be terminated at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the scholarship grantee’s progress and/or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
- Applicants must furnish correct details in their admission forms.
- Scholarship grantees are required to maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 which is reviewed every semester.
- If a scholarship grantee decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely before the intended program, a repayment will be imposed.
- The scholarship is disbursed for a maximum of 5 years for Undergraduates, 3 years for Masters’ and 4 years for Doctorate degree applicants.
- Incomplete forms or forms with no supporting documents will be rejected.
