The Prof. N. S. Ramaswamy Pre-Doctoral Fellowship 2024-25 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) to graduate, postgraduate, and professional degree holders. This one-year programme provides an opportunity for students to prepare for successful doctoral applications in management and allied disciplines. It also enhances their readiness for academic careers in business and related fields. The selected candidates will receive a tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend of ₹30,000, and a house rent allowance of ₹15,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must: -
- belong to one of the following categories:
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)
- Religious minorities as defined by the Government of India (GOI)
- Persons with Disabilities as defined by the Government of India (GOI)
- Person with primary and secondary schooling from a vernacular medium of instruction, rural schools or government schools
- Women and gender minorities
- hold a 5-year integrated master’s degree or a master's degree with a minimum of 60% marks OR
- hold a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with a minimum of 50% marks OR
- hold a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks

Benefits The selected candidates will receive a tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend of ₹30,000, and a house rent allowance of ₹15,000. Additionally, a certificate of completion will also be given at the end of the programme.

Selection Criteria
Selection to the programme will be done in two stages:
- Applications will be evaluated, and a shortlist will be prepared of candidates to be called for a personal interview.
- The final offer of fellowship will be made based on the evaluation of the application and the candidate’s performance in the personal interview.

The Institute follows the Reservation Policy of the Government of India for candidates belonging to OBC (Other Backward Class), SC(Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), and PwD (Persons with Disability).
