Sun Pharma Research Awards 2023

The successful candidates will receive a cash prize of INR 2.50 lakh, a trophy, and a citation.

There are two awards available for the Medical Sciences stream (one for basic research and one for clinical research) and one award for the Pharmaceutical Sciences stream. 

​​​​​​Documents required at the time of Nomination - 

• Applicant's photograph
• Duly signed justification letter from the sponsor of the nomination in not more than 400 words
• Applicant's biodata in not more than 3,000 words
• List of ten best papers
• Statement of research achievements (if any)
• Details of research work 
• Copy of one or two specific research papers/publications
• Citation in about 250 words

Documents required after Nomination - 

• Complete biodata of the applicant (not to exceed 3,000 words)
• List of ten best papers of the candidate, highlighting the important discoveries/contributions described in them briefly (not to exceed 3,000 words)
• Statement of research achievements, if any, on which any award has already been received by the applicant. Please also upload brief citation(s) on the research work(s) for which the applicant has already received the award(s) (not to exceed 2000 words)
• Details of the research work duly signed by the applicant, for which the Sun Pharma Science Foundation Research Award is claimed, including references and illustrations (not to exceed 6000 words)
• Copy of one or two specific publications/research papers of the applicant, relevant to the research work on which the award is claimed
• A signed statement from the applicant that the research work under reference has not been awarded previously (not to exceed 500 words)
