SECL Miniratna Apprenticeship for Engineering Graduates and Diploma Holders, Bilaspur 2022-23 is an opportunity offered by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Bilaspur (a coal-producing company of India under the Ministry of Coal) to graduates and diploma holders in Engineering disciplines. The selected candidates will receive up to INR 9,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be 18 years of age as on 19th December 2022
- hold a graduation degree in one of the following disciplines from a government-recognized institution -
- Mining Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering OR
- hold a diploma in Mining Engineering/Mining and Mine Surveying
Benefits The selected graduation students will receive INR 9,000 per month and diploma holders will receive INR 8,000 per month.
Documents - Certificate and marksheets of the secondary/high school qualification
- Certificate and marksheets of degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mining/ Mine surveying from the institutions recognized by the government or equivalent qualification
- Caste certificate (Note - OBC certificate issued on or after 1st April 2022 will only be accepted.)
- Adhaar-linked bank account number
- 4 Passport size photograph
- Notarized affidavit in the prescribed format given in the advertisement
Note - The candidates are required to submit a self-attested copy of all the documents at the time of joining.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship using the below-mentioned steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Click on the 'Enroll' tab.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and click on the 'Submit' tab to end the enrollment procedure on the National Web Portal.
Step 5: After successful registration, click on the 'Login' tab. (Note - If already registered, kindly log in with valid credentials.)
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Search for Establishment - 'Easter Coalfields Limited' and complete the apprenticeship application.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the date of enrolment of candidates on NATS portal in the Board of Apprentice Training, Western Region.
In case of tie-on enrolment in the same category, the date of graduation in engineering/ diploma passing, the percentage of marks of Engineering/diploma and date of birth will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd tie-breakers in order for provisional selection. The provisional selection list will be prepared based on these criteria and reservation.
Two seniority lists of provisionally selected candidates as per selection criteria will be prepared. The 1st list (Level -1) will consist of candidates belonging to Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh states and the 2nd list (Level -2) will be prepared of candidates belonging to the rest of other states.
The candidates from 2nd list will get opportunity after exhausting the first list of candidates. The provisional selection first will be uploaded on the SECL website in the last week of December 2022.

Terms and Conditions
- Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training in any other institution earlier.
- Candidate must not have completed employment/service at any establishment for one year or more.
- Candidate must not be pursuing or have completed postgraduate/ M.Tech. qualification.
- Candidate should not have passed his engineering degree/ diploma 3 years before the date of joining as an apprentice.
- No TA /DA will be provided for coming/going to the scheduled place for document verification, medical examination or to attend training. Also, no accommodation or housing facility will be provided.
