About The Program
The Schwarzman Scholars Programme 2026-27 is an opportunity provided by Schwarzman Scholars to postgraduate degree applicants at Tsinghua University, Beijing. This programme aims to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world. The selected candidates shall pursue a fully-funded Master’s degree at Tsinghua University.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have an undergraduate degree
(Note:- Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme shall complete it before 1st August of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.) - be 18-28 years of age as of August 1, 2026, for the 2026-27 session
- demonstrate strong English skills with the help of the scores of the following examinations:
- TOEFL - minimum score of 100
- IELTS - minimum score of 7
- Cambridge English: Advanced (C1) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (C2) - minimum score of 185
- Duolingo English Test - minimum score of 130

Step 6: You will receive an activation link in your email. Click on the link, enter the temporary PIN, your birth date, and click on the ‘Login’ button to proceed with your application.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- Applicants should only submit the materials requested. Any supplemental materials submitted that are not required, such as portfolios and writing samples, will not be shared with the selection committee.
- Interviews are conducted at three locations around the world. Dates and locations are shared via email once an application is submitted.
- Securing a valid passport is entirely the responsibility of the Schwarzman Scholar. It is advisable to secure a passport before applying for this scholarship.
- Transfer students are not allowed into the programme.
