Scheme for Award of Stipend to ST Students, Arunachal Pradesh 2023 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh to financially help ST students pursuing higher technical or professional courses. The selected students will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹1,500 and an annual book grant of up to ₹3,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh
- belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- be pursuing higher technical/professional courses from a recognised institution/university
- have secured 75% above attendance in the previous academic year
Benefits The selected candidates will receive the benefits in the following manner -

- Marksheet of the last examination
- Copy of college ID card/admission receipt for the current academic session
- Photocopy of the first page of bank passbook
How can you apply? Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner' and click on 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.Note - All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and merit.

Terms and Conditions
- The students pursuing higher studies through correspondence are not eligible for this stipend.
- ST students who are in full-time employment are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The students seeking re-admission in another course due to academic failure are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Girl students who fail in a class may be allowed a one-time stipend for the same class in the next year after the recommendation from the Head of the Institution.
- The students whose attendance falls below 75% are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The students against whom disciplinary actions have been taken are not eligible for the stipend.
