Research Scholarship, Gujarat 2018 invites applications from postgraduates students of Gujarat to pursue their research work (PhD) in Science subject. The key objective of the scholarship is to ensure economic welfare and empowerment of students.

The applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:- Applicants must be a postgraduate and willing to pursue a PhD research in the science field with subjects including; Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, Mathematics at the university level in Gujarat state.
- The maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 25 years at the time of applying for the current session.
- The applicant must have passed B.Sc and M.Sc with second class grades in the relevant subjects.
Note: There is no annual family income limit for this scholarship.
Benefits The scholars will receive (variable) financial assistance during their PhD research work.
Documents - Self-attested copy of the Aadhaar Card
- The first page of bank passbook/cancelled cheque
- Fee receipt of current academic course
- Self-attested certificate of previous academic mark sheet
- Certificate of PhD registration at University
- School leaving certificate
- Undertaking and declaration of student
- Financial guarantee for award of research scholarship
