About The Program

Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for OBC Students, Uttar Pradesh 2024-25 is an initiative of the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, for the students who are studying in Class 11 and 12 and belong to the OBC category. The selected students will receive a tuition fee reimbursement of up to ₹10,000 or the actual fees paid, whichever is less.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh
  • belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
  • be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a recognised institution
  • have an annual parent(s)/guardian income of less than ₹2,00,000 from all sources
Benefits

The selected students will receive a tuition fee reimbursement of up to ₹10,000 or the actual fees paid, whichever is less.

  • Residential proof including electricity bill, ration card, voter ID, aadhaar card, PAN, or driving license

How can you apply?

Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below. 
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students' tab on the top left-hand of the dashboard and click on the 'Registration' button (Note:- If the applicant is registered, kindly click on the 'Fresh Login' button and choose the scholarship).
Step 4: Click on the ' Postmatric Intermediate (Fresh)' link, under the 'For OBC Category' section.
Step 5: Fill in all required details to 'Register' and click on the Generate OTP button.  
Step 6: After successful registration, log in using valid credentials.
Step 7: Fill in the required details, upload the relevant documents, and click on the 'Submit' button.
