Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Government of India, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial support to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community students of the state. The scholarship encourages ST students from financially underprivileged backgrounds to pursue higher studies after Class 10. The selected candidates will receive a maintenance allowance and other benefits.

Deadline30-Apr-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category of Maharashtra
- have passed Class 10
- have an annual family income of not more than ₹2,50,000
- not have a gap of more than 2 years in their formal education
Benefits The selected students for this scholarship programme will receive the following maintenance allowance and other grants:
- For Hostellers/Day Scholars:
- Group 1: ₹550 to 1,200
- Group 2: ₹530 to 820
- Group 3: ₹300 to 570
- Group 4: ₹230 to 380
- Reader Allowance:
- Group1-2: ₹240
- Group 3: ₹200
- Group 4: ₹160
- Escort Allowance: ₹160 per month.
- Special Pay: ₹160
- For Mentally Retarded, Extra Coaching: ₹240 per month
- Study Tours: ₹1,600 per annum
- Thesis Typing/Printing: ₹1,600 per annum
- Book Grant: ₹1,200 per annum

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details in the 'Register' tab.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.
