Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC, Chhattisgarh 2023-24 is an initiative of the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste, Government of Chhattisgarh for students studying at the post-matric level. The scholarship aims to support the higher education of students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC community in Chhattisgarh. The selected candidates will receive up to ₹3,800 per annum.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:
- be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh state
- belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
- be studying in Class 11 or above in a recognised institution of the state
- fulfill the below-mentioned annual family income criteria:
- for OBC students: not more than ₹1,00,000
- for SC/ST students: not exceed ₹2,50,000
- have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination
Benefits The students selected for the scholarship can avail the following benefits:
- SC/ST hostellers will receive a scholarship worth ₹3,800 per annum
- SC/ST non-hostellers will receive a scholarship worth ₹2,250 per annum
- OBC hostellers in Class 11 will receive a scholarship worth ₹1,000 per annum
- OBC hostellers in Class 12 will receive a scholarship worth INR 1,100 per annum
- OBC non-hostellers in Class 11 will receive a scholarship worth INR 600 per annum
- OBC non-hostellers in Class 12 will receive a scholarship worth INR 700 per annum
Documents - Domicile certificate
- Caste certificate
- Birth certificate
- Income certificate of parents/guardian
- A recent passport-size photograph
- Self-attested copy of last qualifying marksheet/certificate
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students Corner' and click on 'Register Yourself'.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected on the basis of fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
