Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT Students, Haryana 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana to students who are studying at the post-matric level of education. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC, EBC and DNT students studying at the post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. The selected candidates will receive academic allowances and other benefits.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- belong to OBC, EBC and DNT community
- be a domicile of Haryana
- be studying at a post-matric or post-secondary level of education
- have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,50,000
Benefits The selected candidates will receive the following benefits -
Category of Courses Academic allowance (INR per annum) Tuition Fees Total Group 1 - Degree and Postgraduate level professional courses 10,000 10,000 20,000 Group 2 - Other professional courses leading to Degree, Diploma, and Certificate 8,000 5,000 13,000 Group 3 - Graduate and Postgraduate courses that aren't covered in Group 1 and 2 6,000 2,000 8,000 Group 4 - All post-matriculation (Post Class 10 level) non-degree courses 5,000 - 5,000 Note -
- Students studying through correspondence/online courses shall not be eligible for the academic allowance. However, tuition fees will be paid to them.
- Students pursuing C A . /I.C.W.A. /C.S. /I.C.F.A. shall be treated as day scholars for the purpose of academic allowance.

- Parivar Pehchaan Patra
- Fee Receipt
- Last exam passed certificate (except for 1st-year students)
- BPL certificate (if applicable)
- Father's death certificate (if applicable)
How can you apply? Eligible applicants can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to 'Student Registration' at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family Id), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant, and click on the 'Generate OTP' button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and Click on the 'Verify OTP' button.
Step 6: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check the information.
Step 7: Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 8: Click the login link at the portal and enter valid credentials to apply for the scholarship.
Step 9: Provide all necessary details like course, roll no., eligibility etc.
Step 10: Click on the 'Apply' button to save and submit the application.

Selection Criteria
All the applicants fulfilling the criteria and have completed the application process with all the necessary conditions will receive the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions
- 30% of the funds allocated are reserved for girl students and 5% for students with disabilities
- The scholarship will be provided for studies in India only.
- All the children of the same parents/guardian can avail the benefits of this scholarship.
- The income certificate will be taken only once which will be at the time of admission to the course.
- Applicants are requested to fill the application form online, with the correct and verifiable details only.
- Funds provided under this scheme will not be utilised for any other purpose.
- The scholarship is dependent on the satisfactory progress and conduct of the recipient.
- The recipients of this scholarship cannot hold any other scholarship/stipend.
- The recipient is liable to refund the scholarship amount if the student discontinues the study for which the scholarship was originally awarded.
- The provisions of this scheme can be changed at anytime at the discretion of the Government of India.
- The scholarship of a student will be cancelled in case of discontinuation of studies due to personal reasons or in case of false information provided in the online application.
- The scholarship will not be paid for the period of internship/horsemanship in the M.B.B.S course or for practical training in other courses if the student is in receipt of some remuneration during the internship period or some allowance/stipend during the practical training in other courses.
