The Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge invites applications for PhD Studentship in the Biology and Ecology of Asia 2020 from the students willing to carry out PhD research program at the university. The scholarship aims to financially help researchers to carry out research activities in the fields of biology and ecology of Asia. The researcher can also opt for their own projects in the subject area of biology and the ecology of Asia. The selected candidate will receive University Composite Fee at the Home/EU rate, a stipend at the UKRI rate for 4 years and GBP 5,000 per annum as research cost for 3 years.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be commencing PhD degree coursework for three years at the University of Cambridge
- Have at least a 2.1 in an Honors degree or equivalent (e.g., CGPA 3.5/4.0) in a relevant subject
- Have fluency in the English language- where the candidate must have scored at least 7.0 overall; with not less than 7.0 in speaking, listening and writing, and 6.5 in reading
Benefits The selected scholars will receive -
- A University Composite Fee at the Home/EU rate
- A stipend at the UKRI rate for 4 years
- GBP 5,000 per annum towards research cost for 3 years

- Successful overseas applicants would be required to secure additional funds from other sources to cover the higher fee level at the University.
