Joint PhD Programme by TERI University and Deakin University, Australia 2017 invites applications for a Regular (Full-time) Joint PhD programme. Candidates must have a Post graduate degree from a recognised leading University or B Tech or B Arch degree with an aggregate percentage above 70%. On successful completion of the programme, scholars will receive two separate testamurs from TERI University and Deakin University.

• Preference given to UGC/NET/GATE Qualified
• Preference is given to candidates with a publication profileThe candidate should
- hold a first class post-graduate degree with a minimum average of 60% marks or B.Tech degree with relevant work experience of three years with 70 % marks
- Full-time PhD scholar.
- not be above 35 years of age

This Joint PhD programme is a multidisciplinary course offered with the aim to promote high-quality doctoral research on themes relating to sustainable development. This PhD programme is structured to provide an opportunity for students to undertake taught courses as well as acquire enhanced practical experience in order to become leading researchers, academicians and practitioners at par with global benchmarks. The TERI University offers two scholarships for Ph D students researching the areas of:
- Ph.D. (Bioresources and Biotechnology)
- Ph.D. (Energy and Environment)
- Ph.D. (Natural Resources Management)
- Ph.D. (Regulatory and Policy Issues)
- Ph.D. (Business Sustainability)
The following documents should be securely attached to the Application Form:
- Summary of proposed research and its relevance (as asked in the application form, need not repeat it)
- Forwarding note at the end of the application from HOD/Potential supervisor.
Selected scholars will be based at TERI University and will also get an opportunity for international
exposure by visiting Deakin University, Australia during their PhD.
On successful completion of the programme, scholars will receive two separate Testamurs from TERI University and Deakin University.
