NPOL-DRDO Ocean Science Research Associateship 2022 is an opportunity offered by the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate will receive INR 54,000 per month plus HRA for a period of two years.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility The applicant must fulfil the below criteria to be eligible for the position -
- The applicant must be 35 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of the application. [Note - The upper age limit will be relaxable to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per Government of India orders.]
- The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in Ocean Sciences or relevant allied subjects preferably with experience in the field of Physical Oceanography. OR
- The applicant must have 3 years of research or teaching experience after an M.Tech degree (Ocean Technology/Ocean Engineering) with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in the field of Physical Oceanography.
Note - The candidates must be willing to take part in long cruises onboard ocean-going ships for the collection and analysis of oceanographic data if selected.
Benefits The selected candidate will receive INR 54,000 per month plus HRA for a period of two years.
